What's my level? Which Spanish Class should I enroll in?

HABLA Houston Spanish school is pleased to be one of the few schools in Houston to offer Spanish classes at all levels, with multiple options for Beginner Spanish, Intermediate Spanish, and Advanced Spanish classes. Find out your Spanish class level through this 2-minute Spanish level assessment.

(Most students who are starting to learn Spanish with us – even those with previous experience with Spanish – place at a Beginners-1 level. To assess your own level, you will find this 2-minute self-evaluation useful and time-saving):

1) Have you ever taken a Spanish class or otherwise been exposed to Spanish?

• If the answer is no, your level is Beginners-1.
• If the answer is yes, please continue.

2) Did you take Spanish only in high school or for a few semesters in college (5 or more years ago)?

• If the answer is yes, your level is probably Beginners-1.
• If the answer is no, please continue.

3) Have you used your Spanish since high school or college?

• If the answer is no, your level is probably Beginners-1.
• If the answer is yes, please continue.

4) Could you have the following conversation with someone in Spanish making minimal errors, understnding 80% of questions asked orally, and with a certain degree of ease? (Cover up the right-hand side, and don’t peek!)
